Biannual Swiss Chess Tournament

By registering you agree to event policies and code of conduct.
Schedule
Format:
Swiss tournament (5 rounds, G/15). Pairings by score; colors balanced when feasible.
Registration & Fee:
$25 per person. Register via magic link. Payment by cash or e‑transfer.
Check-in:
Opens 30 minutes before start. Late arrivals paired at TD discretion.
Byes: If enabled, one half-point bye may be requested before Round 1 pairings.
Tie-breaks:
Head-to-Head → Buchholz → Sonneborn-Berger → Most Wins. TD may use a playoff if needed.
Conduct:
No outside assistance/engines; touch-move; phones silent; TD decisions final.
Equipment:
Boards/pieces/clocks availability TBD. Bringing a clock is recommended.
Refunds/Deadline:
TBD or until capacity reached.

A trophy like any other. This custom designed trophy can be taken out and used as a collapsable chess set. Instead of another chess trophy that collects dust this one is of more value than bragging rights alone.
The trophies were designed and manufactured by one of our sponsors, Telaevo Technologies, to suit our specific industry and give a little something extra to our participants.
